Perched above the blue waters of Lago Maggiore, a romantic getaway with breathtaking views. Surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of an old mountain village, the apartment invites you to slow down and experience the beauty of northern Italy.

Wake up to the morning light and step onto one of the two sunny terraces overlooking the water. Whether enjoying a morning coffee, sunset aperitif, or twilight dinner, the terraces offer the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the stunning views.

🏡 The Space

Lovenest is a cozy open-concept apartment spread across two levels, blending authentic historic character with lovingly restored vintage details and antique furniture from the 1960s.

On the upper floor, you’ll find a comfortable double bed with beautiful lake views, a small kitchenette, and direct access to the panoramic terrace.

The lower floor features a spacious living room with a lounge area, dining table, TV, and sofa beds that can accommodate additional guests. A special highlight is the original pastel green Salvarani kitchen from the 1960s, carefully preserved and thoughtfully updated with a modern cooktop, oven, and dishwasher.

The charming retro-style bathroom with a bathtub is perfect for relaxing after a day at the lake or in the mountains. There is also an additional guest toilet near the entrance.

Ideal for couples seeking a romantic getaway, the apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests using the sofa beds in the living room.

The two large terraces are the heart of the apartment, offering uninterrupted lake views and peaceful outdoor living spaces surrounded by nature and tranquility.

Just steps from the house, a variety of activities await: swimming in Lake Maggiore, stand-up paddleboarding, boat rides, mountain biking, scenic hiking trails, and exploring the nearby villages and beautiful Val Grande National Park.

Lovenest is located approximately 19 km from the Swiss side of the lake and makes the perfect base for discovering the beauty and slower rhythm of this special region.

🚌 A bus stop is conveniently located on the main road within walking distance of the apartment, with connections along Lake Maggiore. However, we highly recommend arriving by car or renting a Vespa to fully enjoy the surrounding villages, hiking trails, restaurants, and hidden lake beaches at your own pace.

Ob Schwimmen, Kajakfahren, Stand-up-Paddling oder eine Erkundungstour mit dem Boot – der Lago Maggiore bietet für jeden etwas. Von Casa Fresco aus ist der See praktisch direkt vor der Haustür: Das Ufer ist nur etwa 70 Meter entfernt, und ein kleiner Strand ist bequem in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar.
